Is your child or student a 2022 or 2023 Year 12 student or school leaver? They may be eligible for the Infrastructure Traineeship program launched by the NSW Government, where participants will be paid to work and study while gaining important practical experience that employers love!
This is a two-year traineeship program that combines TAFE NSW studies with practical experience working with more than 15 NSW Government agencies as well as public and private sector industry employers. Charbel Helou is completing his Certificate IV in Project Management Practice through the infrastructure program and currently working with Taylor Construction. This has given him the opportunity to further his skills and build his future career through new experiences he learns along the way.
Charbel's advice to anyone considering the program is "Don't be scared! Do the best you can, I guarantee you if you do this traineeship you will not look back and regret it, this is such an awesome opportunity and experience!"
