Build a creative and people-focused career in hairdressing. As an apprentice, you will learn how to cut, style and colour hair while delivering great customer experiences in a salon environment.
What you'll do:
- Assist with hair cutting, colouring and styling
- Prepare clients and maintain salon presentation
- Learn techniques for treatments and styling
- Provide customer service and support
- Maintain tools and follow hygiene standards
entry pathway
Applicants who have already completed a hairdressing qualification are encouraged to apply. In particular:
- Certificate II in Salon Assistant SHB20216 may be used as an entry pathway into the Certificate III.
This ensures you have the foundational skills and knowledge needed to confidently progress into a higher level.

Once you have completed your apprenticeship with us, you will receive the following qualifications:
- Certificate III in Hairdressing SHB30416
