How to start an apprenticeship or a traineeship

We're here to support you

Apprenticeships and traineeships offer flexible pathways for young people and adults seeking practical work experience combined with nationally recognised qualifications.

We are here to support you throughout the whole process.

How do we help?

We employ apprentices and trainees directly, then place you with trusted businesses (also called host employers) where you’ll gain real, hands-on experience. This means we are your employer, but your day-to-day work and training take place with your host employer.

We’ll help you find the right career path by understanding your skills, interests, and goals, then match you with an employer who will guide, train, and support you in the workplace. Throughout your apprenticeship or traineeship, we’ll keep you on track with regular check-ins, mentoring, and ongoing guidance.

We provide support with incentives and entitlements, helping you navigate both state and federal options so you can access everything you’re eligible for.

Hear from one of our apprentices

"My apprenticeship with Superior Engineering Solutions through Apprenticeship Careers Australia has been excellent, I have learnt a lot of new skills that will serve me in my chosen career.

The whole experience has been helpful: from job interview, to induction, to placement, and overcoming challenges at TAFE. I am especially thankful for the mentoring which has been very supportive.”
