Are you keen to start a career in Engineering and Metal Fabrication?

Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) is a leading employer of apprentices and trainees. ACA are looking for the next generation of Manufacturing Fabricators/Welders/Boilermakers and Sheet Metal workers.

Engineering, especially fabrication in Australia will be screaming for new people with huge increases in government investment in home grown manufacturing and defence.

We currently have a Pre-Employment Program for candidates who are looking to start their career in Engineering and Fabrication. This course will be held at Superior Training Centre Stanley Road, Ingleburn, across from the train station.

This 3-week FREE initiative, starting 7th May and finishing 25th May, is designed to provide participants with a fun and interesting introduction to fabrication and welding, utilizing cutting-edge Virtual Welding Simulators.

 Are You?

  • Free Training funded by NSW Government
  • Industry visit/work experience component

  • Statement of Attainment upon completion of 5 units the Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade
  • Assistance from our recruitment team to find apprenticeship or traineeship opportunities  

Course details:

  • MEM13015 – Work safely and effectively in manufacturing and engineering.
  • MEM16006 – Organize and communicate information.
  • MEM18001 – Use hand tools.
  • MEM11011 – Undertake manual handling.
  • MEM18002 – Use power tools/handheld operations.

Potential Candidates

  • Must be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents
  • Keen to start a new career pathway
  • Be out of work and not at school
  • Able to attend & complete a  3 week part time program
