Covid-19 has caused economic disruptions globally and many Australians were left jobless at the height of the pandemic last year. Persistent lockdowns have also caused workers to suffer across a range of industries.
Minister for Families, Communities and Disability Services, Alister Henskens, who was also interviewed said: “If you’re someone that has had your job interrupted, you can change from waiting tables or pulling beers to be able to help some of our most vulnerable members of our community.”
