Here at Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA), we currently have an exciting opportunity for applicants looking to start their career through a Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling apprenticeship, located in Annandale and hosted by a leading specialist, Tessellated Tile Factory

Our Apprenticeship Program offers a unique blend of on-the-job training, mentorship, and formal study. As an apprentice, you will work alongside highly skilled tradespeople, gaining practical experience and developing valuable industry skills. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn a specialised trade, receive hands-on training, and build a rewarding career creating stunning tessellated and decorative tile installations across residential, commercial, and heritage projects.

What You'll Be Doing

• Learn to prepare surfaces for tiling, including measuring, marking out, levelling, waterproofing and applying screeds.

• Assist with the installation of wall and floor tiles, including intricate tessellation patterns, mosaics, and decorative tile finishes.

• Cut, shape and lay tiles using specialised tools and equipment to achieve high-quality finishes.

• Mix and apply adhesives, grouts and sealants in accordance with industry standards and project requirements.

• Read plans, drawings and specifications to accurately set out and complete tiling projects.

• Strong work ethic and genuine willingness to learn a skilled trade.

• Passion for hands-on work and creating high-quality finishes.

• Good attention to detail, particularly when working with patterns and precision layouts.

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• Reliable, punctual and committed to completing a nationally recognised qualification.

• Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.

• Provisional Driver's Licence (or willingness to obtain).
