Role Description

 

Here at Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) we currently have an exciting opportunity for applicants looking to start their career through a Certificate III in Printing & Graphic Arts over 48 months, located in Blacktown & hosted by Pegasus Media & Logistics . 

As an apprentice, you’ll learn both printing and binding functions across our commercial operation—giving you a well‑rounded skill set and strong industry experience. This is a practical, workshop-based role where you’ll work directly with commercial-grade printing and finishing equipmen

What you’ll be doing:

Printing

  • Operating digital and/or offset printing presses

  • Understanding colour management and print quality control

  • Managing print workflows and job setup

  • Maintaining and cleaning printing equipment

Binding & Finishing

  • Using binding and finishing machinery (e.g., guillotines, folders, stitchers, laminators)

  • Producing finished products to commercial standards

  • Troubleshooting common machine and production issues

  • Managing job deadlines and workflow organisation

What we’re looking for:

  • A strong interest in hands-on, technical work

  • Good attention to detail and pride in work quality

  • Willingness to learn and follow safe work practices

  • Positive attitude and reliability

  • Ability to work well as part of a team

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Location: Blacktown, NSW (just a 10-minute walk from Blacktown Train Station)
