Role Description

Here at Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) we currently have an exciting opportunity for applicants looking to start their career through a Certificate III Horticulture – Parks & Gardens over 48 months, located in Penrith & hosted by Penrith Bowling and Recreation. 

Our Apprenticeship Program offers a unique blend of on-the-job training, mentorship, and classroom learning. As a trainee, you will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining practical experience and developing valuable industry skills. This program is perfect for recent graduates, career changers, and anyone eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment.

Duties:

  • Laying, rolling, and maintaining turf to professional standards.

  • Regular mowing, watering, and fertilization to ensure healthy turf.

  • Maintaining flowerbeds and garden areas to enhance the club’s appearance.

  • Learning how to operate and maintain horticultural tools and machinery.

  • Gaining knowledge of pest, weed, and disease management techniques.
