About the Opportunity

Here at Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) we currently have an exciting opportunity for applicants looking to start their career through a Certificate III in Community Services Individual Support over 12 months with our host employers located across Sydney.

As an Individual Support Trainee, you'll be working closely with experienced professionals to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high-quality care and support to those in need. This traineeship offers hands-on experience in various settings, including aged care, disability services, and home and community care. 

What You'll Learn

• How to provide personal care and support tailored to individual needs

• Effective communication techniques for working with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals

• Practical skills in assisting with daily living activities, mobility, and personal hygiene

• Understanding of care plans, documentation, and the importance of confidentiality

• The principles of providing care with dignity, respect, and compassion
