Required Skills

What You Need:

  • Driver’s License and Car: Highly desirable.

  • PPE: Steel cap boots, long-sleeve shirts, and long pants.

  • Basic Tools: Hammer and measuring tape etc, or willing to obtain.

  • WWCC: Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check.

  • Strong mathematical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret technical drawings.

Role Description

About the Role

This apprenticeship provides hands-on experience across various elements of structural steel fabrication.
 

Your Duties May Include:

  • General metal fabrication with structural steel.

  • Welding, grinding, cutting, folding, and shaping materials.

  • Coating steel structures and frames.

  • Using hand and power tools.

  • Reading and interpreting drawings.
