Early Childhood Education Traineeship

Full-Time | 12–14 Months | Kingswood

Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) is offering an exciting entry-level traineeship where you can earn while you learn and gain a nationally recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30121).

During this 12–14 month traineeship, you’ll gain paid, hands-on experience in a reputable early learning centre in Kingswood, while completing your qualification through structured training and ongoing support.

This opportunity is perfect for career changers, people returning to the workforce, or anyone passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young children.

Who we’re looking for

We’re seeking motivated individuals who are passionate about working with children and eager to build a rewarding career in early childhood education.

You will ideally have:

  • A genuine passion for working with children

  • A willingness to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30121)

  • The ability to obtain a Working With Children Check and National Police Check

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Customer service, teamwork, or communication experience (highly regarded)


What you’ll learn

  • How to support children’s health, safety, wellbeing, and development

  • How to build positive and respectful relationships with children, including babies and toddlers

  • How to plan play-based learning experiences using an approved learning framework

  • How to observe children and support their development

  • How to work safely, legally, and ethically in early childhood education

  • How to support diversity, inclusion, and cultural understanding, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives


Career pathways

This qualification can lead to roles such as:

  • Early Childhood Educator

  • After School Hours Care Assistant

  • Playgroup Supervisor
