Here at Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) we currently have an exciting opportunity for applicants looking to commence their career through a Certificate III Carpentry, located primary across North West & Inner West Sydney & hosted by Total Carpentry Sydney.

Our Apprenticeship Program offers a unique blend of on-the-job training, mentorship, and classroom learning. As a trainee, you will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining practical experience and developing valuable industry skills. This program is perfect for recent graduates, career changers, and anyone eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment. 2nd Years are also welcome to apply!

Duties:

• Assisting with second-storey additions, including framing walls, floors, and roof structures

• Supporting structural modification works such as removing/load-bearing walls and installing beams

• Measuring, cutting, and assembling timber and other materials

• Assisting with formwork, subfloor framing, wall framing, and roof installation

• Installing windows, doors, cladding, and internal fix-outs

• General site preparation including unloading materials and maintaining a clean workspace
   

Skills and responsibilities:

• Great attention to detail

• Trades assistant experience around Carpentry

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Ability to follow & adhere to policies and procedures 

• Passionate for field & result driven 

• Provisional Drivers Licence & vehicle

• White Card or willingness to obtain
