Business / Customer Engagement Trainee (Full-Time)

Aged Care Industry | Rotating Roster (7:00am – 6:00pm)

Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) is one of Australia's leading employers of Apprentices and Trainees for the healthcare, infrastructure, business and trade sectors. We are growing nationally, with branches across the country! ACA is now seeking motivated candidates with customer service experience to undertake a BSB30120 Certificate III in Business (Customer Engagement).

This is a full-time traineeship, where you’ll be employed by ACA and hosted within a supportive aged care environment. Enjoy on-site parking and a rotating 7 day roster between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:00 pm.


About the Role

You will support customer engagement and administrative operations within an aged care setting, gaining valuable hands-on experience while completing your BSB30120 Certificate III in Business (Customer Engagement).


Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls from customers and care workers promptly and professionally

  • Liaise with care teams to manage rostering and scheduling requirements

  • Ensure communication is accurate, timely, and delivered through appropriate channels

  • Enter and maintain data using systems and spreadsheets

  • Provide general administrative support as required


About You

  • Passionate about delivering excellent customer service

  • Interested in public and community health

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes and compliance requirements

  • Respectful, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality

  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work both independently and in a team


What You Will Need:

  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency with full working rights

  • Willingness to complete a Certificate III in Business (Customer Engagement)

  • National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
