Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) is offering a fantastic entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to start or change careers in the aged care sector.

This paid traineeship allows you to complete the nationally recognised CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) while gaining valuable, hands-on experience in a Residential Aged Care setting.

About the Role:

This traineeship has a strong wellbeing and lifestyle focus, supporting residents to live meaningful and independent lives.

You’ll assist with coordinating and delivering daily activities and contribute to a positive, person-centred care environment.

βœ” Support residents with lifestyle and wellbeing activities
βœ” Assist with planning and coordinating daily programs
βœ” Encourage independence using a strength-based approach
βœ” Build meaningful relationships with residents and staff

Who we are looking for:

βœ” New to aged care (no existing Cert III in Individual Support)
βœ” Warm, compassionate, and respectful
βœ” Strong communicators with good customer service skills
βœ” Reliable, resilient, and empathetic
βœ” Interested in wellbeing, activities, or lifestyle coordination

Desirable (but not essential):
βœ” Experience in scheduling, coordination, or activities
βœ” Driver’s licence and access to a vehicle

Requirements:
βœ” Willingness to obtain a National Police Check
βœ” Willingness to complete First Aid & Manual Handling training
