Role Description

Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) have exciting opportunities to work in an Aged Care Facility as a Leisure and Lifestyle Trainee OR an Individual Support Trainee.

ACA is committed to assisting you in developing skills and knowledge by combining on-the-job training with completion of Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (CHC43415) OR Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing).

The Leisure and Lifestyle Trainee will assist in developing, implementing and evaluating lifestyle activities for all residents in both a group and one-on-one settings.

The Individual Support Trainee will assist residents with emotional and social support, mobility, activities of daily living (personal care for example, showering, dressing and assisting with meals) and following care plans as well as communicating with the Care Team, families and Allied Health Practitioners.
