Role Description

Here at Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) we currently have an exciting opportunity for applicants looking to start their career through a Certificate III Automotive Body Repair, across 48 months located in Pakenham & our host employer, AAA Panels. 

Our Apprenticeship Program offers a unique blend of on-the-job training, mentorship, and classroom learning. As a trainee, you will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining practical experience and developing valuable industry skills. This program is a great opportunity for apprentices into their late 1st year or 2nd year of their apprenticeship!

Duties:

Late 1st Year Responsibilities

  • Assembly of body components and vehicle parts

  • Learning and applying core panel beating fundamentals

  • Supporting qualified panel beaters with day-to-day task

Early 2nd Year Responsibilities

  • Panel removal and refitting

  • Performing basic structural repairs

  • Assisting with metalwork and welding tasks

  • Surface preparation, sanding, and filling

  • Supporting a wide range of general workshop duties

 

Skills and responsibilities:

  • Must be at least a first year apprentice or 2nd year

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to follow & adhere to policies and procedures 

  • Drivers Licence and reliable transport

  • Workshop environment with tools supplied by host.

  • Passionate for field & result driven 

  • Training to be completed at Kangan Institute
