2nd Year Fabrication Apprenticeship

Here at Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) we currently have an exciting opportunity for applicants looking to start their career through a Certificate III Fabrication, located in Sunshine West & our host employer, All Hours Engineering. 

Our Apprenticeship Program offers a unique blend of on-the-job training, mentorship, and classroom learning. As a trainee, you will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining practical experience and developing valuable industry skills. This program is a great opportunity for apprentices into their late 1st year or 2nd year of their apprenticeship!

Duties:

• Fabricate and assemble metal structures from technical drawings

• Perform MIG, TIG, and ARC welding on various materials

• Work with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium

• Measure, mark, and prepare materials for accurate fabrication

• Complete basic fabrication of structural steel and equipment (e.g. conveyors, hoppers)

• Maintain quality standards and a safe, clean workshop environment

Skills and responsibilities:

• Must be at least a first year apprentice or 2nd year,

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Basic welding or fabrication experience highly regarded

• Ability to follow & adhere to policies and procedures 

• Drivers Licence and reliable transport

• 40 hours per week with a monthly RDO
