About the Opportunity

ACA is offering exciting opportunities for applicants ready to begin their journey toward a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology. This full-time apprenticeship runs over 4 years and places successful candidates with host employers across Sydney, starting in early 2026.

As a Light Vehicle Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced mechanics and technicians, gaining hands-on experience in servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles. You’ll learn the ins and outs of modern automotive systems while building a strong foundation for a long-term career.

Candidates must have at minimum their provisional driver's licence or close to attaining.

Our host employers are located across key automotive hubs in Sydney, including:

• Fairfield

• Belmore

• Artarmon

• Arncliffe

• Alexandria

• Rushcutters Bay
