Work in a specialised trade that combines traditional craftsmanship with modern construction. As a stone masonry apprentice, you will learn how to cut, shape and install stone for buildings, monuments and decorative structures.
What you'll do:
- Cut and shape stone using hand and power tools
- Interpret plans and specifications
- Install stone in construction projects
- Repair and restore existing stonework
- Follow safety procedures

Applicants who have already completed a construction qualification are encouraged to apply. In particular:
- Certificate II in Construction Pathways CPC20220 may be used as an entry pathway into the Certificate III.
This ensures you have the foundational skills and knowledge needed to confidently progress into a higher level.

- Certificate III in Stonemasonry CPC32320
