1st Year Wheel Alignment/Tyre Fitter Traineeship Mercedes Benz North Shore)

Automotive Group Training is seeking candidates who want to take their careers to the next level. At AGT we currently have an opportunity available in Artarmon for candidates to take up a Traineeship in Wheel Alignment and Tyre Fitting. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities 

• Repairing, replacing and fitting vehicle tyres
• Performing seasonal tyre changeovers
• Perform diagnostics
• Checking and adjusting wheel balance, alignment and rotation
• Inflating vehicle tyres
• General cleaning duties

Let’s talk about the role 

Working within a small team, you will assist in fitting and assessing tyres on a range of vehicles (e.g. for cars, vans, trucks, buses). Accurately adjusting wheel alignments and conducting post alignment checks. Identifying faults in vehicle stability and tyre wear. Perform Diagnostics through checking tyre condition, pressure and tread depth.

Our Ideal Candidate 

• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Be willing to obtain required PPE (Boots, Glasses, and Vest) 
• Current Driver’s license
• Reliable and punctual
• Must be willing to undertake and work towards completing training in the relevant formal qualification
