Role Description	Automotive Parts Interpreters sell automotive spares, replacement parts and accessories in dealerships, repair shops or retail stores. This is a pathway that can lead to a variety of opportunities in automotive, sales, customer service, or administration. What you’ll be doing… You will complete a Certificate III Automotive Sales Apprenticeship over 36 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with the Host Employer. Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to: Identify the make, models of automotive equipment Ensure parts are appropriately put away and warehoused Talk to customers and recommend appropriate parts Check databases to identify and locate parts Order parts from warehouse and external suppliers Prepare invoices for the sale of stock. Process cash and credit transactions Collect, pack and dispatch or delivery ordered parts Participate in stocktaking and update computer data Set up merchandise displays
