2nd to 4th Year Heavy Vehicle Mechanic - Villawood

Automotive Group Training (AGT) are looking for candidates who want to take their careers to the next level. Here at AGT we currently have some fantastic  opportunities available in Villawood to undertake a heavy vehicle apprenticeship.

Key Duties/Responsibilities 

• Assist in the servicing, testing, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of Council plant, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Work with a range of technical areas of heavy vehicles, including brakes, steering, suspension, fuel systems, transmission, emission control, hydraulics, et cetera.
• Fabrication and welding for the purposes of production and maintenance of Council property.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy workshop facility, including tools and equipment.
• Comply with legislative and organisational requirements, including Workplace Health and Safety.

About the Role:

As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice, you will assist in the maintenance, servicing, and repair of heavy commercial vehicles. You will gain knowledge and hands-on experience in the industry.
Must be willing to undertake and work towards completing training in the relevant formal qualification.
