Role Description

Automotive Group Training (AGT) are looking for candidates who want to take their careers to the next level. Here at AGT we currently have an amazing opportunity with a leading heavy vehicle host employer in the Chipping Norton area to undertake a Heavy Vehicle Apprenticeship.

Key Duties/Responsibilities 

  • Assist in the servicing, testing, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of Council plant, equipment, and infrastructure.
  • Work with a range of technical areas of heavy vehicles, including brakes, steering, suspension, fuel systems, transmission, emission control, hydraulics, et cetera.
  • Fabrication and welding for the purposes of production and maintenance of Council property.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy workshop facility, including tools and equipment.
  • Comply with legislative and organisational requirements, including Workplace Health and Safety.


About the Role:

As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice, you will assist in the maintenance, servicing, and repair of heavy commercial vehicles. You will gain knowledge and hands-on experience in the industry.
Must be willing to undertake training in certificate III Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology AUR31120.
