Faith completed a Certificate IV Marketing and Communications and was hosted by NSW Business Chamber throughout her training, while Charles completed a Certificate III in Automotive Sales worked with host employer, Sydney City Toyota. He was a finalist in the Apprentice of the Year category.

ACA General Manager, Luke Radford, has credited the hard work and dedication of Faith and Charles as being central to their recognition at the awards night, and hopes this will springboard them to further success.

“Faith and Charles are both highly deserving of this recognition and it’s a testament to the hard work they have put in, not only into their training but on the job as well. The fact that both of them have stayed on with their current employers in full-time positions really highlights that they are quality employees, and I am very proud to see how far they have come in such a short period of time.”

“We are really excited that Faith was recognised as the runner up in the Trainee of the Year category. She is a fantastic ambassador for the program.” Mr Radford said.

Matching quality apprentices and trainees with the right employers is a cornerstone of ACA’s strategy, with innovative psychology-based screening and matching tools used to ensure candidates are suited to an employer’s organisational environment, helping them to flourish in their roles.

Mr Radford believes the positive feedback he has received from NSW Business Chamber and Sydney City Toyota helps to solidify that this strategy is working well.

“We know it can cost on average six to nine months of an employee’s salary when they leave. So, we believe using an evidence-based screening and matching approach helps give both candidates and their employers the best chance for success, saving them both time and money”.

“Faith has been fantastic to work with. She’s been a real asset to our team and slotted in so quickly. Before ACA helped us, I had no idea that you could even hire a marketing trainee. Since Faith completed her training she has been hired in our team full-time and we are now hosting another fantastic ACA trainee.” said Julien Dupuche from NSW Business Chamber, who managed Faith throughout her traineeship.
