Excellence in Group Training

The Apprentice Employment Network NSW & ACT (AEN NSW & ACT) conducts the NSW & ACT Group Training Awards to recognise outstanding achievement in the vocational education and training sector.

Apprenticeship Careers Australia were finalists in 4 categories and were awarded Excellence in Group Training at the 2022 awards.

The win follows the outstanding work the ACA team have done delivering the More Jobs More Care program in NSW relieving the critical skills shortage in the disability and health care sectors by supporting new workers entering those industries.

Innovation in Employment Programs

ADSCA is the Australian Disability Service Conference and Awards, hosted by One Community. It recognises excellence and innovation in the disability service sector across Australia.

Apprenticeship Careers Australia were finalists in ‘Innovation in Employment Programs’ at the 2022 awards for the excellent work done delivering the More Jobs More Care program in NSW.

The More Jobs More Care program was an initiative by the NSW Government which delivered 300 trainee placements and over 1,700 people employed in the disability support industry.

Women In Non Traditional Trade Apprentice of the Year

The Apprentice Employment Network NSW & ACT (AEN NSW & ACT) conducts the NSW & ACT Group Training Awards to recognise outstanding achievement in the vocational education and training sector.

Apprenticeship Careers Australia’s (ACA) Laura Vilcek, was awarded Women in Non-Traditional Trade Apprentice of the Year at the 2019 awards.

Laura Vilcek has showed great dedication and resilience to succeed on the job and in the process became a key leader at 10 Four Truck Repairs, her host employer. Not only did she complete her Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology TAFE coursework 11 months early, she was the only female in the class and also gained her heavy vehicle licence, forklift licence and is working towards an air-conditioning course with a long-term plan to also complete an auto-electrical course.

Trainee of the Year

The Apprentice Employment Network NSW & ACT (AEN NSW & ACT) conducts the NSW & ACT Group Training Awards to recognise outstanding achievement in the vocational education and training sector.

Apprenticeship Careers Australia’s (ACA) Kimberly Vella, was awarded Trainee of the Year at the 2019 awards.

Kimberly Vella is exceptionally determined, driven and and has consistently gone above and beyond her role to drive results for her host employer, Alliance Community. As a part of her traineeship, Kim completed her Traineeship in Business Administration through Allara Learning. She completed 70% of her two-year course within the first four months of her training, whilst demonstrating an incredible work ethic on the job, regularly beating set KPIS.

Trainee of the Year

The NSW Training Awards are an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the achievements of the best in vocational training in NSW. Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) are proud to announce that Faith Paglinawan was recognised as a finalist at the Central & Northern Sydney (Bay2Bay) regional awards.

Faith completed a Certificate IV Marketing and Communications and was hosted by NSW Business Chamber throughout her training. This recognition is a testament to the hard work she has put into her training as well as on the job.

Apprentice of the Year

The NSW Training Awards are an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the achievements of the best in vocational training in NSW. Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) are proud to announce that Charles Herald was recognised as a finalist at the Central & Northern Sydney (Bay2Bay) regional awards in the Apprentice of the Year category.

Charles completed a Certificate III in Automotive Sales with host employer, Sydney City Toyota. Charles has come so far in a short period of time and his hard work and dedication is central to this recognition.

Marketing Campaign of the Year

Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) was awarded the prestigious Marketing Campaign of the Year award at the RCSA 2018 Awards. The Recruitment, Consulting & Staffing Association (RCSA) is the peak body for the recruitment and staffing industry in Australia and New Zealand and these celebrated awards recognise the best of best in the recruitment and staffing sector.

This win follows an outstanding couple of years for ACA, during which the business underwent a name change and complete brand overhaul.

The ACA image was repositioned to appeal to young candidates and tactical marketing executions included a viral social media campaign that saw more than 6 million views, combined with innovative live activations to reach young candidates. All of this was coupled with an operational overhaul, to enhance candidate experience and cement ACA’s reputation as the best apprentice company in the industry!
